Update Alas, Ariel doesn't live here any more. She went back East to Wisconsin with my ex-wife.
The Friday before Halloween, I call my wife to coordinate weekend plans. She says that she needs to go to Goodwill to find a feather boa for her costume.

One of our technical writers decorates her cubicle with a big parrot green boa. She's wearing the boa with a pointed hat today: "The Boa Witch Project." I ask her where she found the boa. "New Orleans, but Julie can borrow it instead of making the trip." |

I come home with the boa. Julie puts it on the bed. Within minutes, one of our cats has claimed the boa as her nest. She's disapointed when Julie has to take it to the party. |
